How much does a plumber cost?
Every job is priced as a fixed amount in writing before any work begins, the call out fee is $0, and there are no hourly rates or overtime charges to catch you out.
Do you charge extra for nights, weekends or public holidays?
No. The same pricing rules apply at any hour, so a Sunday night call costs exactly what the same job would cost on a Tuesday morning.
What does the $0 call out actually include?
It covers getting a licensed plumber to your door and a proper assessment of the job. You only ever pay for work you have approved, so if the quote does not suit, you owe nothing.

Are your plumbers licensed and insured?
Every plumber on the team is fully licensed under #275278C and insured, and compliance certificates are provided with the invoice on every relevant job.
What does a lifetime warranty actually cover?
Our Lifetime Labour Warranty covers the workmanship on every job we complete, so if something we did fails, we come back and make it right at no cost.
Do you handle small jobs or only big ones?

Emergencies and availability
How quickly can you get to an emergency?
A licensed plumber answers the phone day and night, and the van that reaches you has usually just finished a job nearby, so response is as fast as local conditions allow.
What should I do while waiting for an emergency plumber?
Turn off the water at the meter for a burst, isolate the gas at the meter if you smell gas, and switch off a leaking hot water system at its valve, then call us. The emergency plumbing hub walks through the make-safe steps for the most common crises in more detail.
Do you really work after hours, or just advertise it?
Genuinely after hours. Burst pipes, overflowing toilets and gas smells get taken at any hour, and the after-hours call works the same way as a daytime one, with a fixed price approved before we start.

Why do drains block so often near the bushland reserves?
The bush corridors of Warraroon and Tambourine Bay Reserves, plus the mature garden trees, keep roots working into older earthenware sewer lines, and failed clay joints let soil in as well. Can old clay sewers be fixed without excavating the garden?
Often, yes. Pipe relining can renew a cracked earthenware line from the inside, which suits deep front gardens where excavation would mean losing mature plantings. The pipe relining page explains when a line is a good candidate and when replacement is the honest answer.
How do I know whether to repair or replace my hot water system?
Age, repair history and the condition of the tank decide it. Units well past their design life usually justify replacement, while a newer system with one failed component is worth repairing. The hot water hub sets out both paths side by side.
